Draft Picks 6-10 2026

Tennessee Titans — Carnell Tate (WR, Ohio State)

New England Patriots — Francis Mauigoa (OT, Miami)

Denver Broncos — Jeremiyah Love (RB, Notre Dame)

Seattle Seahawks — Jordyn Tyson (WR, Arizona State)

New York Giants (via trade) — Sonny Styles (LB/S, Ohio State)

The top 5 picks in the draft are about as easy as it gets with big names such as Arvell Reese, Fernando Mendoza, and Caleb Downs off the board; you start to assess who the next picks are and what they truly need going in. These are must-have picks for these teams, so their biggest need must come first. With that being said, it makes sense for the Titans to go for a wide receiver such as Carnell Tate for many reasons. A versatile receiver such as him who can play the slot and outside position in any offensive scheme is perfect. Last year going into the draft, the Titans acquired the first pick, choosing Cam Ward, a young quarterback out of Miami. Adding another weapon only points in one direction for the titans, and that’s up. Staying up with the offensive trend, we see the Patriots acquire the 7th pick, which is a perfect opportunity to choose Francis Mauigoa, an offensive tackle out of the University of Miami. Everyone understands the high demand for quarterbacks and left tackles in the early rounds of the draft, making the selection of an offensive lineman like him a valuable addition to their young and growing room, which will greatly enhance the protection of their new franchise QB. His long arms and 4 years of starting experience will allow him to mesh well in his new position group. The Denver Broncos will then have the opportunity to make their selection, as they have a significant need for offensive weapons. Everyone knows that the Broncos have struggled on the offensive side of the ball for awhile now. So why not target a game-changing position like an RB? This is where we see the best running back come off the board, being Jeremiyah Love, an overly productive running back out of Notre Dame. Last year a running back named Ashton Jeanty was selected around the same time, and he had a pretty productive year, so they’re definitely looking to do the same. After a Super Bowl-winning season the Seahawks are looking to reload and do it again. With the departure of one of their biggest offensive threats, they need someone to fill that gap. The best option to do so will most likely be Jordyn Tyson, a lengthy receiver out of Arizona State. Two deep ball threats in JSN and Tyson will be something the league hasn’t seen in a very long time. An air raid offense that lives on explosive plays and beating you with speed relies on players like this to win games and win games big. With the 10th pick in the draft, the Giants are looking for one thing and one thing only, and that’s production on the defensive side of the ball, so choosing another Ohio State sack chaser is definitely the move. Sonny Styles, following a stellar combine performance last month, meets all the requirements of every NFL team. With the Giants acquiring two picks in the top 10 and taking Caleb Downs, his former teammate, it just makes sense to put these two together again. With that being wrapped up, the time continues to tick down, and Thursday will be here faster than we know it. Teams are going to begin to scramble even more to find their perfect fits, and we’ll be here to see if they make the right decision.
