Mock Draft Rounds 1-2
In my mock draft, I’m predicting how the NFL Draft will go by picking which players I think each team will select. I match players to teams based on team needs, player talent, and fit in their system. I also think about possible trades and surprise picks that could shake things up.
Draft Grade Analysis
In my draft grade analysis, I’m reviewing each team’s draft picks and giving them a grade based on how well they did. I look at the value of the players they selected, how those players fit the team’s needs, and whether they reached or got steals in the draft. I break it down in a simple way so you can see which teams improved the most and which ones didn’t make the best choices.
Immediate Team Needs
In my Immediate Team Needs section, I break down what each NFL team needs most right now heading into the draft. I look at weak spots on their roster, like QB, offensive line, defense, or skill positions, and explain what they should focus on fixing. This helps show what each team is likely to prioritize when they are on the clock.

For all the NFL Draft enthusiasts, this is the place you need to be. In the coming weeks I’m going to be diving deeper than ever before into the intricacies of the biggest process in the NFL, that being the analysis and evaluation of the future NFL prospects. A process like this one is not a decision that comes about on draft night but one that demands constant dedication and attention to detail that most sports lack. I’ll be going deeper into draft grades and analysis while also evaluating teams’ immediate draft needs. This includes a multitude of in-depth information to help your team hit the mark. What makes this blog different from the rest is that it’s real and unbiased, which is rare in the sports world. I am committed to providing genuine and truthful responses to fans and fellow football enthusiasts. In this age of football it’s continuously changing; what people used to be interested in, which was simple and real, is no longer the case, and that’s where I come in. I break down the facts that bring you back to the nuts and bolts of the game and what truly makes this process amazing. Most analysts and blog goers focus on the biggest prospects, while there are others that are even better right under their noses. I’m going to change that. My love for the game of football has propelled me into the position that I’m in today. Being an athlete, I’m currently going through the process myself. Over the past 4 years, I’ve developed knowledge and a better understanding of what’s at stake. My experience of not just being a sports enthusiast but a participant allows for me to give the real insight that fans don’t normally get from outside sources. Year after year organizations go into this process believing that they have everything figured out, and that’s just not the case. So I believe my duty to the public is to share my knowledge and credibility in a way a normal fan can understand and enjoy to the max. With that being said, I’m excited to begin this journey with weekly updates and more captivating topics as this process develops into something amazing.
Blog Post 2 Top 5 Draft Picks!
With the first round of the NFL Draft rapidly approaching this week, the NFL is seeing its busiest time of the offseason. Teams are creating their lineups and figuring out the exact positions where they need to plug in spots. The first round of the draft is crucial for any organization because of the time, effort, and money spent on the players they need. Millions upon millions of dollars are being moved around various places to catapult them into training camp. I’ve taken the time out to create my top 10 picks for this year’s draft and why I believe this is the best possible scenario come Thursday.
Top 5 2026 Draft Picks
- Las Vegas Raiders — Fernando Mendoza (QB, Indiana)
- New York Jets — Arvell Reese (EDGE, Ohio State)
- Arizona Cardinals — David Bailey (EDGE, Texas Tech)
- Chicago Bears — Spencer Fano (OT, Utah)
- New York Giants — Caleb Downs (S, Ohio State)
As is widely known, the first pick in the draft is typically a guaranteed choice, and this year, I have the national championship quarterback Fernando Mendoza being selected in the first round. Through this past year he led his team to an undefeated season with great production along the way. Next, I have Arvell Reese, an outstanding edge rusher from Ohio State, who exceeded all expectations. The Jets, having a notoriously bad defense, will be searching for their missing piece. Drafting a young player such as him to build around gives you a great foundation going into the later rounds and training camp. With Arvell Reese off the board, there’s only one other edge in this draft class that compares, and that’s 100 percent David Bailey out of Texas Tech. A player with a high motor and excellent football IQ is a recipe for greatness. Having a player that can fit into almost any defensive scheme and comprehend it allows for him to play fast and efficiently, exactly what an edge rusher needs to do. With two defensive players being selected back to back, I believe the Bears have to choose offense. Having signed QB Caleb Williams to an outstanding multimillion-dollar deal, they’ll have to spend money on players that they believe will protect him. So why not go for a versatile lineman such as Spencer Fano. Throughout his time at Utah, he became a very experienced veteran with a multitude of starting games under his belt. This is something that the bears desperately need if they want to improve their season. With the 5th pick, I believe it’s one that’ll have the biggest splash in year one, and that’s Caleb Downs. He’s a versatile safety that started his college career at the University of Alabama, where he played under Hall of Fame coach Nick Saban. After Saban’s departure, he spent the next 2 years at Ohio State where he lit the BIG 10 on fire. This player will be a game-changing pick for the Giants with first-year head coach John Harbaugh. With my top 5 picks locked and loaded, I’m excited to see how this year’s draft plays out. Every year the top 10 picks is a really nerve-wracking but exciting time for NFL enthusiasts, but hopefully this year it doesn’t cause too much trouble.
